How to Set Your Country Holidays in Shift Calendar RUIX
Planning your schedule is easier when public holidays are shown clearly on your calendar.
In Shift Calendar RUIX, the Public Holidays feature lets you choose your country so the app can show holidays that match your location. This helps you plan workdays, leave days, overtime, and personal records more clearly.
This guide shows you how to set your country holidays inside Shift Calendar RUIX.
What Is the Public Holidays Feature?
The Public Holidays feature helps you display automatic holiday information based on your selected country.
Instead of manually checking holidays outside the app, you can choose a supported country and let Shift Calendar RUIX show public holidays directly in your calendar.
This is useful for:
Shift workers planning work patterns
Day workers checking public holidays
Users planning leave around holidays
People tracking overtime or rest days
Anyone who wants a clearer yearly calendar
Step 1: Open the Settings Page
First, open Shift Calendar RUIX and go to the Settings tab.
On the Settings page, scroll down until you see Public Holidays.
The description shows your selected country, for example:

Step 2: Select Your Country
On the Public Holidays page, you will see a list of supported countries.
For example:

Italy
Spain
Tap the country you want to use.
When a country is selected, a checkmark will appear beside it.
Step 3: Tap Done
After selecting your country, tap Done.
Shift Calendar RUIX will use your selected country to show public holidays in the app.
This helps your calendar stay more useful for planning work, leave, and personal records.
Step 4: Review Holidays in Your Calendar
After setting your country, you can return to your calendar and review your dates.
Public holidays can help you understand:
Which days are holidays
When to plan leave
When to check public holiday overtime
How holidays affect your work schedule
When to prepare for busy or quiet work periods
This is especially useful for shift workers who need to plan around public holidays and irregular work schedules.
