How to Check Your Leave Taken Summary in Shift Calendar RUIX
Tracking leave is important for both shift workers and day workers. Whether you take annual leave, sick leave, unpaid leave, childcare leave, or other types of leave, it helps to have a clear place to review everything.
Shift Calendar RUIX includes a Leave Taken Summary page that helps you check your leave records month by month. Instead of searching through every calendar date manually, you can view your leave history in one organized summary screen.
This guide shows you how to check your leave taken summary inside the app.
What Is the Leave Taken Summary?
The Leave Taken Summary page shows your leave records for the selected year.
It helps you review:
How many leave days you have taken each month
Which dates you recorded leave
What type of leave was recorded
Whether the leave was a full day or half day
Your leave history from January to December
This is useful when you want to quickly check your monthly leave totals or review your leave record before submitting reports, checking payslips, or planning future leave.
Step 1: Open the Settings Page
First, open Shift Calendar RUIX and go to the Settings tab.
At the bottom of the app, you will see the main navigation menu:
Calendar
List
Plan
Settings
Tap Settings.
The Settings page includes different summary and export options, such as:
Your Monthly Summary
Earnings Summary
Expense Summary
Leave Taken Summary
Export Reports
Step 2: Tap Leave Taken Summary
On the Settings page, find Leave Taken Summary.
The menu description shows:
View Jan to Dec monthly leave totals
Tap this option to open the leave summary page.
This page is designed to give you a yearly view of your leave records, arranged by month.
Step 3: Select the Year
At the top of the Leave Taken Summary page, you will see the selected year.
For example:
2026
You can use the left and right arrow buttons to move between years.
This makes it easy to check your current year’s leave records or review leave taken in previous years.
Step 4: Review Monthly Leave Totals
Each month will show the total leave taken for that month.
For example:
Apr — 10.5 days
May — 4.5 days
Jun — 0 day
This helps you quickly understand which months had leave records and which months had no leave taken.
If a month has leave records, you can expand it to view more details.
Step 5: Expand a Month to View Details
When you expand a month, you can see each leave record inside that month.
Each record may show:
The leave date
The leave type
The number of leave days
For example:
2 May — Childcare Leave — 0.5 days
3 May — Childcare Leave — 1 day
5 May — Sick Leave — 1 day
8 May — Unpaid Leave — 0.5 days
14 May — Annual Leave — 1 day
This makes the summary useful not only for checking totals, but also for reviewing the exact leave details.
Why This Feature Is Useful

It is useful for:
Shift workers tracking different leave types
Day workers checking annual leave and sick leave
